Utah Prenatal Massage…love your baby

Angela Rhinehart, L.M.T.

angela_bigIt is my intention to bring a grounded presence, healing touch and compassionate heart to my work. I love to create the space for someone to drop all ideas about who they are for just a while. A massage therapy session is a unique opportunity to step out of ordinary life and just be, a chance to connect to your deeper, unchanging self. I believe this is especially important during the critical transition time of pregnancy and early parenthood.

It doesn’t matter what you do for a living, it doesn’t matter what degrees you have or don’t have, and it doesn’t matter what roles you play. When you are on the massage table, you are just another human being. In this space, you are able to connect with your body and listen to what it might be telling you. You can acknowledge pain and perhaps release it, find the tension and replace it with relaxation. Your worries may even find their way out, instead of just going around in circles in your head. It is a chance for emotions to surface and dissipate. It is a chance to quietly connect with your unborn child and allow that connection to grow.

It is an honor to attend births, and I am always left in awe of the experience. Every couple has their unique strengths and challenges, each labor has its own rhythm and unfolding story. I enjoy working with these variables, navigating these waters. I take each birth as it comes and help my clients do the same.
